I am currently sporting a BB Storm 2 and I have been holding onto my upgrade for the last 2 months. Right now at Best Buy, you can get a free Inc 2 with the purchase of MW3, which I'm looking to get after I drop $300 on a PS3. I was holding out for the Nexus, but I don't know if I can bring myself to spend $300 on a phone...I'm a cheap accountant. I'm just wondering if you guys think that the Inc 2 will last me the next 21 months until I can upgrade again or if I should just wait until one of the flagship devices drop in price over the next few months. I'm looking mainly for good signal quality for calls and texting and the ability to play emulators like N64oid etc. and other android games/apps. What do you guys think? Thanks!

While I love my Inc2 a lot, if I was in the position of buying a phone now I would look at other phones coming out. However if you dont want to spend anything on a phone, except the cost of a game, the phone cant be beat.

I agree with Blauman. For free the phone can't be beat. I feel this phone software is a little buggy thought. You can read about this in a post I made earlier today. Hardware wise I think this phone is rock solid. If you donating putting some cash into a phone there are some nice 4G phone heading to Verizon.

For me it's the best combination available right now in a phone. I won't go screen size above 4 inches, and a friend has the Pantech Breakout (the only 4 inch LTE phone, I think) and I'm not all that impressed.

I love my Dinc2. Consider whether you really use data enough to make the jump in speed worth going to a flagship phone. If not...this is a great phone.

(I should note - I have a Storm2 for work purposes. There aren't many phones that wouldn't be better than that dog...)

No 4G in my area and they can't tell me when it will be. I'm just wondering about CPU and GPU lasting for the next 21 months with dual core on the market and quad core on the horizon. Buggy software doesn't sound too great either, I'll check out our post. Thanks again for the help!

I came from a Storm 2 to a Dinc2 a week ago. You will not be disappointed in the Dinc2. I was a little afraid of how the battery life would be, but I get 14-15 hours on it. It is a nice phone.

Awesome phone, I have had mine since it came out. I came from a BB curve 2 and loved that hone. Never had a single problem with it. But BB vs Android is like night and day. It takes a bit to get used to it but I have not had one single issue with my Dinc2. I grabbed a few cheap extended batteries on ebay for about $7 each and just swap them out as needed. I have no 4G in my area so until it gets here i will stay with the Dinc2. Even tho the Razor looks sweet i just dnt like a phone that is huge. The Dinc2 is paper thin and just the right size. I love it and Im sure u will too. I have no idea about the whole rooting thing but mine seems to run perfect, even tho im always up for better performance and options, just dnt wanna screw up my phone trying too root it and have to pay for a new one.

I wouldn't get any of the first wave of 4G phones. You know how it is, first out the gate, working out the kinks. And the second wave isn't even out yet. So you're looking at a while before the second wave drops in price. Will the Dinc 2 last you 21 months? I'm sure it will. Will you wish you had Zebra Cake or whatever version of Android they're on 12 months from now? Probably. Can you live without it? Yeah. This is a solid phone to get, and feels like quality. I plan to ride mine for as long as it goes. I had a Thunderbolt briefly and I'm fine with the Dinc2's 3g. It does what I need and does it fast enough. 4G is better but I'm fine with this.

Some people here have complained about signal strength. I have too but I'm in a near-zero coverage area. I'm OK in town.
