I have the m8 and its by far the best phone I've ever had and I love it and I wanted to ask if it's worth upgrading to the m9

If the black bezel at the bottom bugs you, if you want a shorter phone, and a better camera it is worth the upgrade

The way I look at it - the rumored camera is worth it to me. I had the M8 and loved it - except the camera and how tall it was. The M9 is said to have corrected that but we will see it in a couple of weeks. I hope they kept the front two speakers on the M9.

I'm with you 100%, the better rumoured Camara is enough for me to upgrade

I have the LG G3 and the Droid Turbo right now but if the M9 plays out like I think it will spec wise, this will be the next one. I was really set on the S6 but not really impressed at this point.

just used my last upgrade to get the g3 on tmob, my g2 had lcd issues so the m9 may be out of the question for me right now. htc is too expensive compared to other oems. even the m8 is still $640 if you buy full price while the g3 is only $450 with better specs. i assume the m9 will be no different. may wait until summer and get the desire a55 or one+2 which should be much less expensive. that or see if a m9 shows up on craigslist for cheap.

Take a gander at the Marketplace here and at Swappa after release. I bet you'll be able to score one at a good price without paying full retail.

I think if the M9 is not as awkward and slippery to hold as the M8 then it's definitely worth upgrading to. That said the M8 has been an oustanding device to this point and I'm actually going to hate retiring it when I upgrade....

But the G3 even with such specs is a phone with huge ui issues. Just like with the gflex 2, it lags bad, and redraws widgets all the time and that is with the 801 snapdragon and not the 810.
That is why such issues with the new gflex 2 has nothing to do with the SOC, but with the ui the LG uses.

The G3 is awesome, but nowhere near as good as the m8 in quality of software. CL sounds like a better plan to me.
