Would A USB-To-HDMI Cable Work With The HTC EVO3D?

Yeah its very cool! I can now watch the TV shows and movies on my phone, on my HDTV. Plus I was playing video games using the adapter and that makes the games even better. I just don't have a 3D TV, so I can't watch any of my 3D content on my TV. But that is fine with me for now.

I don't have a 3D tv either. We went to Electronic Express to do some Christmas shopping and they had one that would cover my living room wall that was absolutely amazing. Lol, I don't need one that big but man, even just viewing it in 2D made me drool. I used to be one of those people who scoffed at 3D tv but now I really want one. I can only imagine what it would be like to watch the BCS National Championship game on one

Yeah I want a 3D TV pretty badly. I enjoy it on my phone, but man it would be nice to watch 3D content on a large screen! I have a BluRay player that supports 3D content and it can turn 2D movies into 3D, but right now the player is going to waste.

So you also live in Murfreesboro? I haven't met anyone else on this site that lives in Middle TN, let alone Murfreesboro. So your the first person that I have met on here that lives in the same area that I do.

Hi I have a
HTC EVO 3D (X515M) (On Optus Network)
KingCobra3D-ICSv1.5
HDTV Adapter Model: CL760
Apower Ver1.4 HDMI Cable
Original HTC USB cable and charger.

I can not get this cable to display to a 2D TV.
The cable tests good between a PVR and 2D TV.
No picture is displayed to the TV from the phone. It detects when plugged in. When I play a video the picture locks up on the phone until the HDMI is unplugged.

However I did get it to display on a friends Plasma 2D TV using an older HDMI cable.

Can you tell me please.

- Can it definitely display 3D movies to a 3D TV via the HDMI?
- For 3D display do I need a version 1.4 cable? If so 1.4a/b/c etc?
- Are there different versions of the HDMI adapter? Or are they all the same?
- Will 1.3 HDMI cable display 3D to a 3D TV?
- Can you recommend and particular brand or type of HDMI cable? MSY Technologies is our closest store.

Anybody know if futureshop or the source in canada sells mhl chargers? & if so, the price range as well. i have htc evo 3d and have been using a USB charger wondering why the friggin thing takes 5 hours to charge
