Quick question. I've got a guy really interested in my basically brand new Nexus 6p 64g who has a 4 month old Mate 9 with box and contents. He said he'd do an even trade. What do you guys think about that trade? Would I be coming out on top in that deal or is it a true even up trade do you think? I absolutely love the Nexus 6p. In fact it's my all time favorite Android phone but I've always wanted a Mate 9 too. I don't consider EMUI to be Android at all. Should I take that trade and if so why and if not why? Any help would be greatly appreciated. They are very similar phones as they both are similar in size but the 6p is already running 8.0 Oreo for example. The Nexus 6p is the smoothest phone I've ever used. It's just an awesome device but I loved my honor 8 when I had it before and twice as a matter of fact due for my love of EMUI. Should I take his trade or should I hold on to my Nexus 6p. Mine is literally 5 days old as I broke the seal on it. It had never even been turned on before. Give me your honest thoughts and advice if you guys don't mind. Thanks a bunch!

If the 6p is your favorite phone, why trade? Didn't you regret the last time you got rid of your 6p?
Yeah you're right. Maybe I should cut that trade off. I've just wanted the mate 9 for a long time now and it was very tempting. I do like the Nexus 6p a lot. I also like EMUI though and I prefer it over Android as I don't consider it to be Android in any way. Thank you for your advice as I'll hold on to my 6p for now considering it's brand new too.
Ha and for the record it's a pretty even trade I just know how much you regretted getting rid of the 6p in the first place.
You're definitely right about that which is why I texted him and said I couldn't trade. I big time appreciate the advice and you making me remember how much I loved my first Nexus 6p when I had it. Now on top of that I have the 64g brand new and all for only $150!! You simply can't beat that deal. I know this is picky but I really wanted the silver 6p and had I had the silver model I wouldn't have even entertained a trade. I now have the frost white which isn't bad bc it reminds me of a storm trooper from star wars. Lol. The white body and the black camera visor just looks like a storm trooper. The silver though is my favorite and I really wish I could find a Nexus 6p owner who had one in silver trade it to me for my frost white model. But yeah you are right on brother. I love this device and I need to hang on to it even if the mate 9 is awesome. Like I said the Nexus 6p is my all time favorite Android device. Hands down.

Sounds good... You should keep the 6p for a long time then as I know that you have been searching for a long time.
Yeah this deal just all the sudden fell in my lap too. Although I was in search for one at that period all I had was $225 roughly to play with to buy a larger screen device. Then I get his call offering me a pixel at a really good price but I wasn't interested in a pixel then he said he had three Nexus 6ps. Still at that point I didn't think I'd be able to get one or especially his new one which of course is the one I wanted bc I like to buy my phones new or they at least come with the original box and contents. Then he offers it to me for only $150 I was blown away! I immediately told him I'll take it. No thinking about that deal. So my only drawback is I really really wanted the silver model which I have a want to trade 6p for 6p up right now in the market place for my frost white for a silver model. Not sure I'll get a bite but worth a shot as I really do want the silver model for some reason. To me in terms of looks it's the best where I see a lot of people prefer my frost white color over the silver and it actually seems that the silver is the least of the favorite colors of the models but I just love the silver for some reason. If indeed I do have to stay with the Frost white I'll be perfectly fine as I can definitely live with it but hopefully I'll locate a trade out there and grab the silver. At the same time it'll be hard to let mine go bc it's still brand new and that means a lot. Tough call so I'm not sure. I'll have to see if I get a bite first then find out the history of that phone before I trade.

He already sold the 6p. Guess he didn't consider it to be a slap in the face to sell the phone that he got so cheap from his friend anymore
