Would you sell your privacy for $100 a month?

"Luth Research, a company based out of San Diego, operates a business which offers other companies an even closer look into the lives of tens of thousands of people, with their consent of course. In exchange for up to $100 dollars per month, Luth’s “ZQ Intelligence” services collects and analyses data from a person’s smartphone, tablet, or PC, in search of trends and valuable information. Currently, around 20,000 PC users and 6,000 smartphone users are actively participating."

Honestly, I probably would.. everything I do now on my phone is being tracked anyways, might as well get paid for it. Would u ?

It's not like I do anything that would be of interest to anyone. And yeah, since it's already happening, why not get paid for it?

For the same reason as stated by #1 and #2 above I'd sign up for this in a heartbeat.

Depends on what type of data are being tracked. they scan my personal mail? my sms, messages to find useful information? what type of data they store if the scan this type of information? I don't think 100$ are enough in a case like this.

I scanned over the article & I guess they'll limit what they have access too. They said you'll be in control of what they have access to. If that's the case, I'd do it.

Where do I sign up? Of course the amount of porn spam I'll get will be epic. Perhaps I've said too much.

There gonna get a lot of porn sites and parents basement locations from this research

Seems good for the Mystery Shopper crowd... Those that make a few bucks on the side rating stores.

Demographic purchasing information is a pretty big business. Looks like this company is moving to become a player.

I'd do it for $10000/month, that's my bottom line. I'm a firm believer that when it comes to internet privacy everyone has a price. All the anti-android privacy flag wavers you see on non-android fan sites would all toss their phones in the trash and pick up and use an android in a hot minute and completely abandon their supposed principles if there was money in it for them. With full location tracking services running 24/7.

Depends on who is tracking me down, but $100 / month is most probably not enough. And I would also sell my privacy for a finite time frame, but not for my whole live. Apart from that I don't like being spied by government spy agencies like the NSA, even if I don't do anything I am not supposed to do (according to those organisations), so I don't always take my devices with me anywhere.

Actually I changed my mind. Give me two thousand bucks a week and I'll do it on a 20 year contract
