Would you switch to the iPhone?

Had the iPhone 3GS and the iPhone 4...still currently have an iPad and iPod touch...and Honestly, I use my Android for music and browsing more than I use the iPad or iPod. I hated the iPhones and wouldn't never go back to it. I'd go back to Blackberry before I would iPhone.

Going back to a BlackBerry before an iPhone? That's going too far. Lol.

Without a second thought. I had an iPhone 4 before my Nexus, and the screen resolution and battery life just blew everything else away. It was an incredible device.

I don't think I would change. I love my iPad but that is a totally different thing. I really like my Nexus a lot.

I have played with the Iphone 1G,3GS, 4 and have an Ipod Touch 4G. Tbh I think the Ipod touch is basically the Iphone without the phone or 5MP camera. So no I would not consider it at all due to the fact that I already have an Ipod Touch. Also I really dislike iTunes so there's another reason for me. But I will say that the battery life on the Iphone beats any Android phone out there (Out of the box).

I would consider it if it came to sprint. I dunno if I would make the switch though. It would depend on what phone is out or about to come out.

I had an Iphone 3g, and a 3GS, as well as an ipod touch. I got bored with apples os and everything

Yeah...that's sort of the first word that comes to mind whenever I am handling a family member's iPhone: "boring".

Ignoring the black/white difference (the phone design is identical), they're all identical in every way except for the wallpaper and the choice of protective case.

I've heard iPhone to Sprint rumors for a long time now and would still be waiting if that's what I wanted. That said, I came from the iPhone and probably wouldn't go back. I don't mind iOS (I have an iPad and think it works fine there) but to me the Nexus S is a nearly perfect smartphone - I'm enjoying it far more than I ever did on my iPhone.

I have an iPad too. Wish I had a Xoom.

I would think about it... only because I have a Macbook Pro.

Only because syncing stuff wouldn't be that much of a hassle

Nexus owners, my question is this: If Sprint carried it, would you consider switching to the iPhone for your next upgrade?

I really love my Nexus S 4G, but if Sprint carried the iPhone, I would at least consider it. It has never really been an option for me before, but I heard an (extremely unverified) rumor, that Sprint will be getting the iPhone in the next year or so. I'm not set on switching, and I have very little, if any, "iPhone envy", but I would play with it, and decide if I wanted to switch based on Sprint's Android offering at the time.

What about you?

No...

Simple as that.

With that said, the main draw for the iPhone for me, would be the iPad. I don't really like what I'm seeing from honeycomb, and I really would want my phone to use the same OS as my tablet.

Isn't that a big thing that Ice Cream Sandwich is bringing to the table? They're bringing the best of the phone OS and the tablet OS together and putting them on both, right? Or am I completely off base?

Since the iPhone is indeed coming to Sprint this year: I would get it only if the screen size were bigger. I have gotten used to screens 4" and up. I just can't go back to the smaller screen, even if the resolution is better. I have also been spoiled by the richness of AMOLED. The screen is so rich and vibrant. I had all the iPhones and have been with iOS for a long time. I then switched to the Evo and now the Nexus. With the Nexus S, I finally feel like I have an accurate representation of Android. It actually feels fast, lean and updated!

Where has it been said that the iPhone is for sure coming to Sprint? I know I've seen rumors but nothing definitive.

You are correct that unity is what ICS is SUPPOSED to bring to the table. I for one, have not yet seen it. I really have no idea what to expect. ICS could be amazing. It could be crap. I do know it will be different. Probably different from honeycomb, and very different from iOS, which is just fine if you ask me. If I were buying right now, I would go with what I know I would be happy with, and I know I would be happy with an iPad. I want to want a honeycomb tablet, but they have no app offering, and I'm not the early adopter type. Besides, honeycomb is sort of ugly. Just sayin'. Don't hate me for that opinion, some of us like trucks, some of us like cars.
