Would you want a trade in or trade up plan from google to get new pixel phones?

How many people would be interested in being able to get the latest pixel(nexus) device every year from google? Do we think there is any chance that they do an apple like, new iphone every year plan from google? Do you think that after the dust settles down that google will setup a trade in or trade up plan?

My idea was that for people who have nexus devices already like the 6, 6p and 5x could get a discount this year and then be enrolled in the yearly program for the years after.

I just wanted to get the conversation started so maybe we can get some traction and get some attention.

I have a Galaxy S7 Edge. I'd definitely be interested in a trade in program, if they value of the trade in is right.

Don't think it's going to happen though.

I thing Google will probably adopt this idea, its pretty much becoming an industry standard among carriers, and apple themselves doing it. I don't think it would ever apply to the nexus line of devices as at this point, Nexus doesn't exist to the Pixel. Thats like asking Apple to offer a trade in for your Galaxy.

Don't think of Pixel as google for a moment, think of Pixel as the latest smart phone company to enter the market with a new product. This is ground 0, there is nothing to trade up with
