Would you want LG to make a Pixel phone?

I'm not terribly concerned about who assembles the parts. I'm sure LG would be fine

Well... LG dismissing reports is nothing new.. they did that before the Nexus 5 AND the 5X were released.

That being said, I think LG could easily build the Pixels. They certainly have the capacity to handle demand. The only question I would have, and I think many would agree, is that I would like to know that their production QC issues were resolved. They've had issues across several generations related to their main boards crapping out, issues they claim were resolved prior to the G6 launch.

So time will tell... they get those issues ironed out, I think it would be a great turn of events.

I love the G6 and the design of the phone. The quality is there on the outside...but I have had several LG phones that start boot looping after a couple months.
I don't think HTC can handle the demand to be honest. They make great quality phones but they can't keep up with the demand for the Pixel so logic tells me the same would happen with the Pixel 2.

I would like to see LG make the Pixel 3, I am quite impressed in what they have done with the G6. Not that it would ever happen, but I would like to see what Samsung could do for the Pixel 4.

Yeah mine doesn't but I'm nervous about it. Both my G4 did
I am not really up to speed on the bootloop issue. I thought it was only a problem with the G4. Have they had issues with other models also?

Google should have just kept Moto and built their own phone.

Yeah, I'm getting the feeling their purchase of Moto came with some sort of agreement that they weren't going to use it to directly compete against the other OEM's. Otherwise that would have saved a ton of money and time.
