Wow does the Droid X really have 8GB for app storage?!?!

Im looking at the specs and it says 8GB internal memory. Is that all for apps? If so that is AWESOME!`

Yes it is. When you get the phone it's a bit over 6gb of free memory. When froyo comes, some of the apps can be installed to the sd card, and that could be up to 32gb. I don't know what apps one would use to use up all that storage. It's not blackberry (former storm1& 2 user)

Yes this is correct. I really don't think I will concern myself with saving any apps to my card, the amount of storage on phone is enough for me.. I plan to install my videos and music files to my 32 gig sd card.

with appbrain if you need a new device bam all your apps are listed so I don't feel the need to install apps to the card, but I am on a DINC.

you would need to repartition the fs.

it's easier to just use microsd cards for music and videos...
