Wow, Samsung/Google should be embarrassed!

I have heard the same thing but from a Verizon manager I know. She also said the galaxy nexus has been a nightmare for them, that they get a lot of returns because of problems. I've had 3 galaxy nexus phones and all have had the mic cut out, random reboots, the last one I had, had the static on phone calls issue but my first one and third one do not. Anyway this phone has problems and no one knows when it's going to be fixed.

I guess the above makes it a universal problem.

I am not having any of the problems others claim to be having. Not one VZW employee have claimed to the experiences the Verizon manager you mentioned says is happening.

i've had no problems w/ my gnex. i got mine from amazon. i wonder if it was from a different batch than those having problems. somebody should do a poll. the results might be enlightening...or not.

i'm new to the gnex. i'm glad that i continued to take all the forum complaints with a grain of salt. learned that lesson a couple of phones ago and it has served me well. people who are not having problems tend to complain the least. the phone works great. i thus far have at least as good a signal as i did with my droidx. i laughed out loud when i tested the speakerphone, wondering if it was going to be loud enough, and i had to turn it down a notch.

I'd blame this on the "like new" replacement agreement Verizon/Sammy have on this phone after 3 weeks (I believe). My phone is flawless, thankfully, and I couldn't be happier with it. If I did I would have fought tooth and nail to get a NEW replacement. I'm sure they just keep recirculating the defective phones so it seems like there's more bad ones then actually were defectively manufactured.

it really is odd seeing posts like this when this is the most stable and clearest quality phone that I have ever used. I do have it rooted using Codename 1.5.5 though...
