Past couple of days I noticed the speeds in Honolulu was a bit down.
Below 10 mb down. I was worried the network was getting loaded. But today? I guess they were upgrading towers or cell sites? But dang...
I never seen 40+mb regularly.
Usually about high 20's low 30's.
I'll let the pictures speak for themselves.
Ave speeds now about 45MB down.
My phones feels even more snappy now when watching Netflix and YouTube.
Good job T-Mo!

Almeuit,
Things to come With T-mobile.
If you notice your lte speeds drop all of a sudden? An upgrade might be around the corner?

Yes it you notice a drop in service that means they are upgrading the towers. I work as a Rep for T-Mobile and this is what they told us and I have actually noticed the same thing. I wish my speeds were that fast though!

Haven't noticed anything yet. I would love those speeds but I have been loving the LTE I get and HSPA. I used to average 6-8 GB a month but right now I'm way above that lol.

I am loving T-mobile.. So much more everyday...:cool:

Wow! Never came close to those speeds when I had Verizon! Alas, still no LTE in Kapolei. I haven't noticed any difference in speeds in the areas I frequent (yet hopefully)

I'm switching from Verizon to TMO and wondering if you have any issues with reception in buildings in Honolulu? I live in town and work in Waikiki and rarely go past Honolulu and Hawaii Kai. Sometimes I'll head out to Mililani but 99% of the time I'm in Honolulu. I had TMO service 2 years ago before switching to Verizon and don't recall any problems back then but it seems people are always concerned w/ TMO's building reception and coverage. My primary concern is being able to make and receive voice calls indoors. I sit at a desk most of the day in front of computer so I really don't need data all the time. I also read that LTE is a data only spec and does not affect call reception, is that correct?

I work in one of the four banks, I have no problems inside the building and parking lot. Probably because the tower is set in downtown Honolulu. As for reception in Hawaii Kai, my friend's Verizon had like 1.5mbps while I had 26mbps. In downtown I get up to 70+ mbps.
