The Note 8 could do it sans dex dock as well. I had a $40 usb-c to hdmi with usb port and power port, and Note 8 could do Dex just fine.

Finally someone to confirm that S10 has Dex built in... Now i can get the Dex Cable...

I don't know where I seen it, but I read the S10 was dex compatible. Samsung's website probably hasn't been updated, which doesn't surprise me.
