The more I use this phone the more I really really enjoy EMUI. It does a lot of things differently than most other UI's that is a good thing. I have read plenty of reviews hating on EMUI frankly it's a fresh take on what a phone can do and it's done very well. I skimmed through the owners manual man it is full of things this phone can do.

Glad that you are enjoying it! Emui 4 is a significant departure from what most Android manufacturers do which is probably why many people used to Android don't like it

Totally agree. A lot of The extra features in EMUI really add value and improve the user experience when given a chance.

I prefer EMUI over pure stock Android any day. The software is seamless and honestly is a hybrid of both apple and Android mix but done very well and lots of attention to details. I love the stock software on the honor 8. I've not even considered putting one of pro launchers on it. I agree with what one of the above said. How can you not enjoy honors software interface. Tons of features and lots to offer.

This thread reminded me of a video that I watched recently.

If you don't want to watch the video, basically his point is that the top Android OEMs all do not have UIs that are even close to stock and they are winning. The ones that do have close to stock are not even close to the top. The success of the OnePlus 3(T) is only within a niche group so they don't count.

Yet all of those UI's are terrible, TouchWiz is how many stupid features can we pack into a phone that no one really needs. I'm not sure what LG's UI is suppose to do other than make me return the v20 after a week. I really like the sense UI, it's not over complicated but it compliments the more stock look with simple things.

I haven't even wanted to use my HTC 10 and that is/was my favorite phone. I'm super excited for EMUI 5 and nougat.
