Wrong contact comes up when trying to text with Voice Action

No matter what I do when I try to send a text via Voice Action, I cannot get the correct contact to come up when 2 or more people have the same name. It only gives me one person. I saw on another forum that the user there got a list of the contacts who shared a name and was able to choose the correct one but that doesn't happen with mine. I've deleted and added the contacts back (as Google contacts) and that didn't work. Any other ideas?
