Wrong EVO radio for Revolutionary, what to do?

I think I have finally figured out why Revolutionary won't accept the the beta key it generates for my EVO. It seems my radio isn't on the list for EVOs. Mine is 2.15.00.080, which is from one of the latest roms. Probably because Sprint had to repair my phone a few months ago. Don't know why I didn't notice this discrepancy before.

So what to do? Go back to one of the older gingerbread roms with a listed radio (a nuisance with some risk), or hope that Revolutionary will update their root software?

Any ideas?

It should still work. Is your phone a referb? When you download the tool, and plug your phone into the computer when it asks. When it asks for the Beta key, To the left should be the Serial Number of your device. Make sure that is what you are putting into the Beta Key Generator. Then make sure you are putting in the Beta Key EXACTLY as it is shown and not to mistaken zero's for O's and such.

Thanks for the response. No it isn't a refurb. Updating to gingerbread bricked my phone. I took it to Sprint and waited while they flashed a new rom. It originally wouldn't even respond to power-volume down sequence.

I have been oh so careful about making sure every number, letter, case is exactly right. I must have tried the process several dozen times.
