WTF... images disappeared for no reason...

ok I'm confused... suddenly all sorts of images are just gone... and its' weird becaues it's files from different folders, but not all the files in each folder... I noticed this happening after putting the phone into mass storage mode. otherwise, I haven't made any recent changes to the phone lately.

any ideas?

Have you tried unmounting/remounting the sd card?

I was having that kind of problem after the 2.2 update. It was accompanied by a very long connection time to my HP dv9000 laptop.

I finally correlated the problem with the HP QuickPlay program in the laptop, and disabled it about ten days ago. So far, I've had no more file loss issues.
