Never saw it. Can you remove it if you long press that icon?

Hi, no, nothing happens if i long press it. And if i just click, it sends me to a page full of bookmarks which i dont even go to. I deleted 1 by 1 and now if i click top sites the page just go blank.

You use Chrome flags, right? I think there's an option in there for a similar feature. See what's enabled in flags, just in case.

I didnt touch any Chrome Flags settings prior to the update. Tried reading 1 by 1 and disabling Explore Websites removed Top Sites. Chrome is always doing things behind my back.

Yup, weird that the update enabled any flag by default. Glad you managed to find the culprit.
