I cannot figure this out. Only on my android for kindle all of the sudden my books are upside down. Sure I can just read by flipping it, but really WTH??? any idea what I can do. I tried re-booting the tablet, didn't work.

Try going to Settings>Apps​, select Amazon Kindle, and Clear Cache/Clear Data, then Force Stop. Does that help?

I had no problem with the Kindle app on my N7 - text appears right-side up. Sorry.

On my galaxy note, I use Ultimate Rotation Control by FaMe IT. When I am low on power and still want to read (or do anything else, really), it can sometimes be awkward having the power cord on the bottom. Also, with some games, the home button can get in the way while in portrait mode. This program makes things much easier.

As to your particular problem, I'm sorry I don't have a solution for you.
