X and S issues?

OMG. Seriously. The only thing worse than the original story is people reblogging it.

Maybe I should have prefaced the link with the fact that I'm looking at buying the X and wanted to get other peoples opinion on this story. It seems both issues are not widespread and everything said/typed/reported on the net should be taken with a grain of salt, but when dropping 6 or 7 hundred on something, I want to do as much research as possible.

I'd like to confirm the HTC one S black issue and personally I think its related to the sharp edges. The alloy cannot really flex, but the ceramic even though very durable in scratches, when it comes to sharp edges it can chip away. Only solution to that is make them curved, but that means to redo all the manufacture all over again.... Highly unlikely.

My current solution is a new replacement from amazon and a full gel cover case.
