Oh, absolutely I completely agree! I have a Pixel 3 XL, and I plan on buying the Pixel 5 in the future. Looks great! You don't need to have a flagship chip to have flagship features!
You don't have to buy a Mustang with 500HP to buy a Mustang either but where's the fun in that?Oh, absolutely I completely agree! I have a Pixel 3 XL, and I plan on buying the Pixel 5 in the future. Looks great! You don't need to have a flagship chip to have flagship features!
Well I'm mustang at $70,000 versus at $35 to $40,000 lol. It's also not the same ballpark. I mean the Snapdragon 765G with a 4,000 mah battery will hold its own against other rivals. Bad and software updates and an amazing camera and software. To me, it's a no-brainer.You don't have to buy a Mustang with 500HP to buy a Mustang either but where's the fun in that?
My comment was more tongue in cheek than serious but you get my point. Some people like only the best. Just ask @mustang7757.Well I'm mustang at $70,000 versus at $35 to $40,000 lol. Says the guy who talked me into buying a Pixelbook....now you tell me!I'd say that "highest specs" doesn't always mean "best."

Haha well why thank you very!Couldn't have said this better, myself.
1X2.4GHz, 1X2.2GHz and 6X1.8GHz cores is mid-range. (8GB of RAM helps, but doesn't completely make up for it.) Nowhere near, say, 2X2,73GHz, 2X2.4GHz, 4X1.9GHz.
Still no telephoto camera.
No WiFi 6.
The 4,080mAh battery is still nothing, but at least they've upped the charging by 8 whole Watts.
And, of course, no 3.5mm jack or SD card.
What they've done is kept the price down - at the expense of the CPU/GPU, WiFi, battery, charging and innovation (which they've been lacking since the original Pixel).
I'll stick with the Camera 4'ed Pixel 2 for this iteration.
Yep yep correct for sure!Yah dude, if you are expecting an SD card or a headphone jack in the higher end pixel phones, you are gonna be waiting for a long time. Motorola, Sony and Asus put headphone jacks on some high end models, may wanna look there. It ain't happening on the top of the line Pixels, which the Pixel 5 currently is being sold as. Only the a models will be getting the jacks. And SD card no way. Google is a cloud based company, that time has gone and passed for them.
