Xfinity Mobile App vs. Xfinity TV app

First we had the Xfinity Mobile app, which allowed you to access your account, billing info, schedule and record shows, access tv lineup.

Then came the Xfinity TV app....can someone please tell me what the difference is between the two? I personally think that the mobile app works better and has more features, where as the TV app just has the lineup the you need to scroll through for hours.

Any thoughts?

I had the same question when I checked the Market for an available Comcast TV app, and found two different ones available, but with nothing to clearly let me know why I would want one over the other. My main objective is DVR control, which they both seem to have. But apparently this is a mystery to more than just me.
