It might be going Global but it isn't really.
I say this because I purchased this phone in China with the Global Rom which turns out to be for Europe and straight away I turned up a bug which will turn a lot of people off.
Google Pay does not work., because the boot loader is unlocked.
I have been beating Xiaomi's door down for a month and the fact is they don't want to know about it.
I have received every excuse under the sun , oh you didn't buy it direct from our website so that's why it doesn't work.
I have sent Xiaomi photos of the specs, on the phone, serial number, every thing they wanted , and then they went silent.
The fact is Xiaomi don't even know what is happening to their phones once they leave the factory.I requested they check their inventory to see where and who they send their phones to for sale ..no answer.
The fact is, it is not a Global Phone.
It comes with Android 13 and IMUI 14.0.6.0 EU which is loaded with European languages and English.
If you live anywhere else you have to buy the phone from China with the Global Rom over the top .
I checked the Xiaomi UK store and you can't buy the 13 Ultra at their store.
I also checked their Global store, guess what ? they don't have a global store, you just can't buy it on that web page , and here is the other thing the Ultra 13 is not listed as being covered by their International warranty because it is not Available .
So, there claims are basically bullshit, as they don't offer the Ultra any where else in the World. In fact if you order the Phone in Australia there are two suppliers , both offering the Chinese version and , at an extra cost to have the Global Rom which is skinned over the top and comes from either Shenzhen or Hong Kong as both suppliers are Chinese operations posing as Australian suppliers.
The next catch is, if you want the phone serviced it has to go back to the place of purchase...you guessed it..China .
