XM with Phone

Can the free six months of XM that comes with the phone be attached to something other than the phone such as a head unit(s) in a vehicle rather than playing the XM through the phone?

Nope. The XM subscription is only for the 'online' version. (Unless you have a full-Android head unit with mobile data).

Thanks. As I figured, the XM spiff is worthless. Saves me from having to call XM.

You can always call xm to see if they will give you 3 month trial. I just purchased a used dodge durango and it came with 3 months trial. Then u got a letter in the mail to extend the trial to 6 months for $2. I think I will be keeping xm after trial is over. Single veh cost $7.99 a month for basic service.
