Xoom 4G Upgradable?

I believe I read a Sanjay interview indicating the Xoom 4G being released jointly with the Bionic. That said I seen a Verizon TV commercial today advertizing the Xoom being 4G upgradable. What up wid dat?

It's always been advertised as being LTE upgradeable. They never said that the upgrade was available.

Then there will be a lot of refunds on the way. It was billed as 4G LTE upgradable from the start. Failure to do so would be a major blow to Motorola and Verizon, both from a financial standpoint and customer service/satisfaction standpoint.

I see them swapping devices when you send it in and just transferring your data from on to the other and then removing the Tegra 2 and putting in a new Proc that is LTE compatible for the next guy that sends theirs in.

This is the most likely scenario.

That's not really possible. They'd have to give you a new unit altogether. You can't just swap a mobile processor out.
