xoom mz600 root?

Ive looked all over and it looks as though the one click root for the vzw xoom is history. Is there another way to root it?

man - confused as he%$! I have rooted hundreds of phones so easily...

So, I finally have the XOOM (it's the wifi XOOM afterall) rooted but it is still on 3.0

Any step by step to get this baby on 3.2.1?

The check update still does nothing? In the same area you found the root look at locking and getting back to stock posted by Phil. Dl the stock files they are 3.0.1. Do that and once on 3.0.1 try the check for updates. I went to 3.0.1 last week and soon as it booted it took me to 3.1. Then when that was done it went right to 3.2.

Use hri66 its 3.0.1. Once you get it done you need to relock the bootloader to get the stock ota. Once on latest you can unlock and root again.

can i just use rsdlite to flash hr166 with a rooted and unlocked xoom?

OK. so i went to the Motodev site and used adb to flash HR166 - and re-locked BL - Now Im on 3.0.1 and check update says no updates...

Its broken... you try and change the date to another day like tomorrow? Some do that to get updates. This is weird.

fixed! kept flashing ROMs from the MotoDev site until I found the "right" one - I must have some bastardized version of the XOOM - anyway, after I flashed, I automatically received 4 updates - Now on 3.2.1.

Now, if I root this, will I continue to get updates?
