Xoom now or Xoom 2 Later

I know there are a few threads on this but Im in a bit of a different boat.
The Asus TP looks soooo dam nice, but its not on Verizon.
Im only looking to get a tablet from Verizon and only with 4G. Now I see that on Friday Verizon should be selling the Xoom for $199 which is an excellent price, but then I dont know if I should wait for the Xoom 2.
Does anyone know of a releease date for the Xoom 2 and do you feel the premium price of the Xoom 2 is worth it when it comes out?
BTW, any solid info on ICS for Xoom 1?

Its only 199.99 with 2 year contract. The xoom is great and I love it, but I am extremely anxious for the Transformer Prime. As for Xoom 2, Im more interested in the media edition.

Well that was quick.
On my lunch break I ran over to Verizon and look what I picked up........
I got the Xoom for $149.99 with my New every 2 $50 credit and the Speaker dock on sale for $37.00. I could NOT pass this up AND it came preloaded with 4G.
Only thing is that I actually [paid the full price of $510.00 and on Black Friday I email my tech or walk over to him and he will price adjust.
No waiting in line.

Well after 2 days, i sure am loving it
Oonly thing is I want accessories but there are not much out there.
Im still searching for a nice case that doesnt add bulk to it, but dont want a silicone case and the Moto Portoflio isnt all that to me.

The good news is with the XOOM 2 coming out, accessories unique to the original XOOM, such add cases, will get really cheap. Incipio is already selling some of their cases for under $15...which were $50.

I hope the ports will b the same so we can use interchangeable docks and what not.

WOW, I really like that and that is now on my top list. The only thing is the leather which im not a fan of. If I dont find anything else, This will be purchased.

So I went back, picked up the speaker dock, the case for 9.97, car charger and some screen wipes. I got 30% off for getting 3 items, the case didn't count cause it was on clearance already.

I like that the speaker comes with a bracket to use with or without a case. The sounds not great, but it will be good enough for my alarm clock and an occasional Netflix.
