ZF7 Delivery Thread

Received mine 1500 this afternoon via Amazon UK

So far so good; zero issues, all transferred from my S25U - both personal and business eSIMs moved across. Good Lock / Theme Park running as they should be; camera seems really good (IMO)

Fitted the Spigen Aramid case with the Spigen Magsafe ring - works faultlessly.

Lovely and thin; light, easy to open/close and great to use

Very impressed
Awesome
Post some pictures when u can

So, according to ATT, they did not impose the signature upon delivery requirement. I confirmed with FedEx that THEY are the a*$*oles who did it, simply because the sender marked the value at greater than $100.

The only way I can get the package to be delivered to a local FedEx location is to get into the app after it arrives at the local hub and before it gets loaded on truck for delivery.

The good news is the delivery is overnight, so I may get it tomorrow, if the planets align.

I got notification from AT&T that expected delivery is Friday, sent via FedEx.

But, these idiots put signature required for delivery. I'm about to light up some poor, unsuspecting customer service rep. I doubt they will change or claim they can't change that, as I've run into this before, but it's worth a shot.
Most carriers require signature as a rule. Samsung used to also, but now they give us a option. Better believe if that phone gets phone pirated and you selected no signature Samsung will be out of the picture for any type of claim, it will be between you and shipper, and shipper probably won't do any either as they did what they were instructed to do.

Oh, I understand the risks associated, but in this particular case, both ATT and myself stated NO signature required, yet FedEx took upon itself to impose the requirement anyway.

I just find that a bit brazen on behalf of FedEx to go against both customers (sender/receiver).

And I can see how this is going to go down. I've been trying every couple minutes to go into deliver manager to change drop-off location to the local store but they won't allow me to change location until it reaches the local hub. But I think the status won't update again until it's already loaded on truck and out for delivery, blocking me from using the option.

Mine is being shipped via UPS. I was going to try to send it to my mother's instead but said shipper, Samsung, won't allow. Samsung told me earlier if I wanted to cancel without the restock fee to contact UPS before delivery and have them return package... Well that's not allowed by shipper either.

Yeah, it's all a crock of sh**

I'm not as concerned about the GW8 Classic I have coming because UPS isn't forcing a signature for delivery, but I'm supposed to be able to choose a delivery window and it's not showing any option for that, regardless of the fact that I pay for whatever the service is called with UPS.

Just my advice, don't refuse delivery instead receive and do the return. You'll get ground return shipping, with tracking and returns processed faster. The refuse to delivery takes the slowest path way back, yes even slower than ground and it's a pain in the ass in general to get that processed from Samsung.

As far as the restocking fee, you can argue with Samsung to get that waived especially if it's due to Samsung's incompetence of not allowing us to cancel. Worst case, most credit cards have return protection that cover restocking fees (my AMEX card does).

I personally, will be doing the return for my duplicate order instead of refusing delivery.

Just arrived right at the delivery window they gave. So excited. I know it's been said time and time again but since this is my first time holding are seeing on person man is this thing thin. About to charge and set this thing up View attachment 370745
Good luck with that charger. Everyone including me have problems with it connecting for charging. Sometimes you have to remove it and reconnect it a couple times or so to get it to charge. The watch one works great, it's the phone part. Once it actually connects it stays connected and charges, just make sure it connects.

Hopefully they fixed it, just wanted to let you know to make sure it connects.

It's a shame, it's a well built charger.

I hate to hear that. I saw complaints like that on BB's website, but I'll give it a shot for a week and return if it won't act right

I'm using Verizon. Just got it! Charging before I set it up. Feels very light! Just not thrilled with the case I ordered through Samsung. It appears to only have a back and a screen protector?! So odd. View attachment 370746View attachment 370747
Nice congrats! There were some cases like that on the previous foldable where they were only doing the back case and not the front lip cover

Received mine at 1050AM in No.AZ.

Damn that's a thin blue phone! Wow...
Have no time to set it up today though, tomorrow, and will report on the stylus that I purchased off Amazon.
Have fun!
Peace
Yeah Sammy's getting cheaper with with their cases too.
