Xoom shuts down while sleeping

Today I have noticed something really really weird.

I installed a few apps all of which came from the Optimized for Honeycomb thread on this forums.

Anyway Xoom would just switch off if I leave it on sleep for something like 10 minutes.
First I was watching a TV show on Bbc iplayer through the browser, so when I went to take a shower and came back the screen was off, yet when I pressed the power/lock button the device was off and motorola logo came on and it started loading again.

It happened 2 times for today already. Why is this happening? Should i return the device and ask for replacement while I still can?

P.S Also noticed some weird artefacts on the screen with icons, which dissapeared when I touched the icon.

i think each device should have this problem. when we dont operate them, they will shut down. my xoom also shuts down when i left. everytime i need to restart it. it is really annoying. but you can set a longer standby time.

My Xoom never shuts off during sleep mode. My Xoom only shuts down completely when I press and hold the on/off button and then click on the confirm pop up.
