Last night while booting my fully stock LTE Xoom, it stopped after the red M logo and said encryption failed - you ned to perform a factory reset.
It shows a button to select factory reset; I can click on the button, but nothing happens.
I tried to load the moto drivers on my Win7 PC so I could flash the stock ROM, but no sucess.
I also booted in recovery and tried to do a factory reset there without success. And i tried deleting cache from recovery. Nothing seems to work.
In a previous thread someone talked about removing the cover and disconnecting the battery for 30 seconds...
I plan to try the battery option tonight, but any other ideas would be greatly appreciated.
I have owned the Xoom since March 2011 and love it. The only other problem I ever had was the touchscreen went wonky that first summer but Moto fixed it under warranty for free.
Thanks for any advice you guys van give
