xoom to play Netflix

When I log onto my Netflix accounts it tells me my xoom is no compatible how do I get it to play my movies

It's not supported yet for the xoom. Netflix is starting to roll out the app for Snapdragon-powered devices. The xoom is Tegra 2 powered. No telling exactly when/if support will be coming.

WT$#%!$ Snapdragon exclusive Netflix apps? Man I hope you're wrong- that'd be the worst fragmentation example on android yet.

Only tablet to run Netflix would be the HTC flyer? LMAO! Android Tablet Fail.

Simmer down. No one knows anything right now. Heck I'm still waiting for Hulu Plus...

When / IF netflix actually is released, I'm sure most high end devices will be supported. I'm sure Xoom will be there to at some point.

Ipad is for kids and old people...if my nexus one has Netflix....no reason for the zoom not to get it in the near future

um

first off, for Netflix on Android info :
https://www.netflix.com/Help?faqtrkid=4&p_search_text=supported+android&srch=Search

second:
Snapdragon processors are more secure when it comes to streaming content. It's not about android at this point, it's about the hardware. Just because a processor has more power or clock speed doesn't mean it can do anything. I'm sure after some time, Android will take care of it all.

third:
As much as I love android, and I'll most likely get an android Tablet some time soon, the iPad is definitely winning the tablet war. There's nothing you can't do with it. Yes there are down sides, and if you are a nerd (like me) those downsides break the deal. But over all, the iPad is far superior to any other tablet on the market right now.

fourth:
If you really want to run netflix on your tablet, there are ways you can stream stuff from home to your tablet, like getting a slingbox.

Also, there's this app:

for streaming just about any show you can think off. For that price it's totally worth it. Or the lite version with only a few preselected shows:
https://market.android.com/details?id=tvshowslite.kiio.es

This for movies:

Of course - I have an HTC Incredible so I'm good for now. Stick with HTC if you can, they have been in the game longer (yes they have been making smart phones for years now but their stamp was only found on the guts of a phone). Their phones are the easiest to root ;)
