I know people have been comparing the tablets but I feel like their reviews are missing things. So I wanted to ggive my two cents.
Overall feel : the xoom does feel heavier probably because of the form factor. The iconia feels lighter only because it is bigger and the weight is more evenly distributed. Xoom = brick. Iconia = book. The Xoom feels more solid in my hands vs the iconia which feels like if I dropped it it would shatter.
Speed : I loaded both with the exact same things. Honestly the difference was hardly noticable. Some people have complained that the iconia has problems with 1080 video. No idea. I had no problem playing a basic avi.
Camera : xoom has a better camera both front and back. Iconias front camera lags to high heaven.
Video chat : this was a big kicker. Person on the other end couldn't hear a thing I said on the iconia. The noise cancellation mic made too much noise ( oddly enough) . Video was choppy.(I suspect poor bus) No problems with the xoom.
Ports : clearly iconia wins this round. Working SD card slot and full size USB port (without having to be rooted) .
I believe those were the big differences. Xoom clearly wins over the Iconia. Nice try Acer but its not a finished product.
