It should have GPS but not AGPS

Assisted GPS i believe uses cell towers to estimate your location.

example you get get a GPS single but your still know the general area you are.

I know that even with the mobile data shut off my zoom give a more accurate position than does my incredible with all services on.

I'm on Tapatalk so I can't get you the sources, but it was announced a while ago that the wifi-only would still have GPS. I even remember comments/threads where people were saying "Good for Motorola for keeping GPS in there," so yeah, not a typo on Amazon's part.
