Xperia L - what are the different 'reset' modes?

Hi,
I am using Xperia L C2104 (Android 4.2.2).
What are the different "reset" or "recovery" modes for this phone?
The user guide only mentions "Factory Reset" mode that can be done using "Backup & reset" option in Settings.
Is there a "Recovery Mode" where I can clear cache partition etc?

Any pointers would be really appreciated.

Welcome to Android Central! It's unlikely that your phone allows you to access a Recovery menu. From what I found on the web, the hardware button reset only lets you do a factory reset. Not all phones let you access the Recovery menu.

Thank you for your reply. I also suspected that there is no "Recovery mode".
I thought of checking anyway since I was advised to try it in another thread (http://forums.androidcentral.com/general-help-how/668992-xperial-l-continuously-restarting-even-safe-mode.html)
