Xperia Z brightness issue, any help?

Xperia Z brightness issue

Hi

My Xperia Z refuse to go over 5% brightness, i tried external apps for brightness level, and it can go lower than 5% but when i turn the brightness up over 5% on any app there is no difference at all. This sucks because it makes it impossible too see the screen outside of my home. I already tried rebooting, safemode, factory reset, sony repair thing nothing worked.

Hi, is this phone under warranty? what Z model do you have? do you have auto brightness enabled? have you dropped or got the phone extra wet recently?
