Xperia Z in a constant boot loop. Help please!

I turned my Xperia Z off last night. This morning I placed it in the cradle to charge / start.
The phone went into a constant boot loop. Splash screens, but about five seconds after the home screen it reboots again. Have removed Sim, micro SD and tried volume up +power. I can only get it to stop the loop by turning it off.

Help urgently needed.

Tried contacting Sony through Facebook, but they deleted my post.

same problem here .. read somewhere that someone fixed it it with "flashtool"?

edit: had a conversation with my carrier, and they said I should claim a DOA. :'(

What carrier and which color phone? Got a new phone with exactly the same issue. If I use battery save mode for low battery the issue comes back.

same problem here! started two days ago. Mine is a japanese version Xperia Z SO-03E.

try using sony's xperia update service. it worked for me you just download it on you computer.
