Just got a xperia z3 and did the lollipop update and noticed memory issues and overheating anyone have this???

Had the same issues you describe. I did a factory reset and all's well now

Lillpop drained memory to 18 gigs after update and no apps download yet was 25.50 on kit Kat 4.4.4 ya your right lollipop is done I think the reset will erase files not needed too thanks again
