Yahoo app not working suddenly

Galaxy tablet, Tab A, SM-T510, Android 11.
First time I open it, every time, I can't click on anything- nothing happens. Back button causes it to go back to tablet home. Then I open it again & usually it works. That has been for last several days. Today, it's totally crazy. Keeps opening the same email when I click on any. Waits a long time to go to another folder. Bizarre behavior.

Try clearing its app cache/data in Settings>Apps, then Force Close it, then open it again and sign back in.

If that doesn't help, it might also be due to a screen overlay issue. Do you have anything like a 3rd party screen dimmer app or blue light filter?
