Yahoo Mail App 1.4.5 for Android Default Alert Tone Needed

I'm using the latest Yahoo Mail App version 1.4.5 on my Samsung Galaxy S3 and like the Yahoo default alert tone for when receiving new email. I want to use this tone for other alerts on my phone. I can't seem to access this file on my phone. Does anyone know where I can find this alert tone file on my device or email or post this alert tone. Thank you for your help.

Do you have a file explorer? If so, root around in the folders until you find where the Yahoo app is installed, it's most likely there. If you don't have a file explorer, you can plug your phone into a PC and browse it that way.

I tried that, but yahoo mail is not listed in the app list. Kinda weird, neither is hotmail app. So the mail apps aren't in the apps list when accessing files from pc. Tried looking at all files and folders but couldn't find it. I did find a yahoo folder, and the sub folder was ymail then the sub folder to that was debug with nothing in it. If you know where the yahoo default alert audio file is located, please let me know. Thanks.

Hmm. Have you tried doing a search VIA your PC for audio files? I know with Windows you should be able to search for things like pictures, music, etc. So, try that.

Yeah. Tried search and opened pretty much every file folder and sub folders on my phone via pc. Still can't find it.

Okay, not sure what to tell you then. Maybe try doing a Google search to see if you can download it.
