Yahoo mail photos not in gallery

I have downloaded photos using yahoo mail. These pics are on my sd card but do not show up in my gallery as they would using the blur email client.

any thoughts?

Are they in a folder? If the folder name begins with a "." they will not show. Just move them somewhere else. If this is not the case, search the folder they are in for a file called nomedia. If that file is there, it will prevent them from showing also. However, first try rebooting your phone to see if they show up in the gallery before trying to move them.

The photos get saved to the sd card but not in any folder. When I reboot the phone they show up in the gallery.

Is this a yahoo issue or android issue?

It's Android. Sometimes the gallery is slow to pick up new entries.
Download sdrescan, it prevents you from having to do a reboot to get the pics.

When i download using the built in email client pix show up in the gallery right away. Why would it take longer if the pic was downloaded with yahoo email?
