Yahoo Mail --@verizon.net DSL email account setting up

I am trying to add a verizon.net email account which is really a yahoo email account offered through Verizon's DSL service. Any help is appreciated.

If I set it up using the verizon.net setup, it doesn't work because it is looking at verizon.net servers, not yahoo servers. If I set it up using yahoo, it doesn't like it because it won't allow a verizon.net email address (guess).

The yahoo mail app works fine, but I would like to consolidate and just use the phones main mail app.

Any help is appreciated.

I ended up setting up the mail account as "other" and manually entering in the IMAP and SMTP servers. Works great.
