The real issue is this: The 27% discount is what the base price of the S24U should have been from the start! Samsung is most definitely taking advantage of the lack of real competition here in the US (WHY, is anyone's guess) but the fact is this...right now there are new phones with BETTER specs already available, or will be in a couple of weeks (OnePlus 13, and other Chinese imports) that are priced virtually the same as this so-called deal! Samsung needs to STOP with the exorbitant greed and lower their prices or they may find themselves losing out!
