Yet another problem with my phone since KitKat

The last few phone calls I have had to toggle off the speaker and then toggle it back on in order to hear the person on the other end at normal speaker volume. I don't recall this happening on 4.3

Since receiving the update, have you performed a factory reset? If not, do a reset and see if that clears up any of the bugs you are experiencing. Be sure to backup your data and sync accounts.

I found a solution to my problem that is more elegant than the app that I had been using for many months. Auto speaker by Techoworx is what I just installed
