Re: Yikes! If Google kills yur accnt, your phone becomes dumb pho
I remember when I first got my Blackberry. Someone was like make sure you close out the apps. I'm like yea I did. (Thinking the home button was the only wrong way) and was getting horrendous battery life. Till I finally figured out there is a CORRECT way to close out the apps.
I don't read user manuals. Always figure everything out on my own. Only get lost switching to new OS's. But, is that even in their? It should be if it's not.
If they opened up a Google store near me I'd be in there everyday just messing around with things bothering people. I think they should do it. I think Apple did so well because of it. Mainly because people don't like to get things they don't understand and were able to get help easy.
People able to go and see a real person and speak with them is comforting. Even to me. I hate dealing on the phone with Sprint people who have no idea what they are talking about; and, getting lost in the space they call Google Support Forums waiting for a Google Rep to respond to an issue I'm having with a less than 5% success rate; then, skipping over my issue because it's be addressed but no resolved and going onto the next person.
And just for anyone here who worried about Google Book purchased and didn't notice this: A Google Rep pointed me to this. If you have a problem with a Google Books purchase you could get over the phone support; but, you have to send them YOUR number and wait for them to call you. Never tried it. Don't remember where to find it. It was well hidden.
I was coming off of a Moto Q so I wanted something a little more manageable size wise.
That would be like an F.A.O. Schwartz for nerds.
Yeah as long as you remembered to close out programs the RIGHT way and reboot every so often to keep the memory clear, they were good phones.
