Yup, and the change is coming to other Bixby-enabled devices as well (like the Note 9), so you will be able to re-map that button at last without the need for a 3rd party option. All that was announce during the S10 launch.

i might actually give Bixby another shot. it was good on then S8 the it sort of went downhill for me. we'll see.

Bixby worked better albeit slower when it was first introduced. It does not allow me to control all aspects of the phone like it originally seemed to do. Nevertheless, I got the update on my note 9 this morning and now my single button click pulls up Google
