You tube app video problems for y nexus4

Since the last app update you tube videos are dark can hardly see them and in the middle of the video there is a symbol it is square with 4 lines left bottom corner(looks like a mute signal) check all my setting but nothing please help

Do you have Chromecast? I noticed this on my Nexus 7. I had to reboot to fix it, although there's likely another way.

I had the same problem when using bluetooth headphones. I just forced closed the app and it was fine.
