Very nice. I may be going to Verizon soon though. Girlfriend would save money and we'd have more coverage... I'd just have to adjust to the life of caching content so I wouldn't have to stream as much (10GB shared plan).

You share 10gb LOL LOL? You use that amount of data in one day by yourself. If Verizon has XLTE live in your area in Florida?
I feel sorry for you Almeuit.
Have fun driving your Ferrari in a school zone ;)

It helps the girlfriend and honestly the coverage will be nice. I also just don't cache things to my phone. My past 2 months (excluding this month since I did 1 TB this month) I've only used about 40 GB but again that's with not caching any music.. Movies.. Or anything like that. I can cut down for sure without worry.. Just have to be more conscious about it rather than just saying "eh whatever I'll stream it".

Ok but... Why would you want to change the way you enjoy using your smart phone? I could see if Verizon still offered unlimited data, I would not hesitate to tell you to jump ship. I mean it is really good of you to help your Gf out. However, looking at the current Verizon price plans?
I don't see where you would save money to tell you the truth.
My wife recently upgraded to unlimited data from 3 GB cap.
Our total now is 148.00 total with jump insurance on both phones it used to be 128.00 when she had 3GB cap. We have 15? discount I might add.

Verizon 10GB shared with talk and text starts at 100.00

If you go with edge per phone is + 25 dollars each phone so that is 150 unless you pay it off .

Then you - 50 off the data because of edge it goes back to 100.00

Then if you add 2 smart phones lines at 80 dollars that will bring back it to 180.00 dollars.

If you add insurance?
Goes to 200.00
Plus tax etc?
210+.00

Unless there is another plan?
I don't see the saving.

But if coverage is one of the main
Issue you need in your area then
Right on bro. But from. What see
You have excellent coverage and speeds. So I boils down to helping your gf? Why doesn't she just jump on your plan and see how it works?
She will have 2 weeks to try it out?

Anyways good luck bro

For us it will be 160 a month.

15 my line
40 her line
20 taxes (it will be less.. I just use 20 as an estimate)
80 for 10 GB of data (her discount)
5 for her insurance

= 160 a month. /2 that is 80 a month.

Now taxes will probably be less so 75 or so each... Not bad. For the coverage it will be nice. She will be stunned when she can use her phone anywhere and everywhere. Also I will like having cell service at my house because wifi calling does work but if comcast goes down... I'm without a phone while home.

I get where you're coming from. I've looked a ton and thought about it. If i throw videos on an SD card I'll be fine. I use 95 percent of my data at work... Other than that I use nothing. I added up my weekends in the past... All weekend I average 50 MB lol. Work is my drain... So cache music to phone from Google music... Throw videos on the SD card instead of steaming at work... I'm good.

Also I'm friends with the IT guys at work and they eventually (key word) are going to upgrade our work wifi because the executives use it for their tablets and it's honestly horrible at the moment. So once it's upgraded.. I'll have decent wifi.. And be good to go.

Well decided to go back to T-Mobile... Girlfriend didn't like the call quality on her S5 with Verizon.. I wasn't a big fan either.

But just got this on T-Mobile.. Can't complain! :).

Couldn't stand not having unlimited data huh? ;)

It really was the call quality. For her phone it was really bad and for me people would go robotic at times.. I'd have to hang up and call them back to fix it.

I actually use the phone part unlike most smartphone users now a days :P. I average about 1.5k minutes a month.

HD voice plus upcoming VoLTE? ;)

I do enjoy the HD voice on T-Mobile but.. Even when it's not using it (like calling the parents on Sprint) it's still better than what I experienced on Verizon.
