What is your favorite keyboard?

Physical keyboard was a big reason for choosing the Epic over Evo, had I known how little I would be using it with Swype, I may have made a different decision.
I still would of gone with the Epic over the Evo. There are many that have defected from the Evo over to the Epic for hardware advantages.

After years of using Treos and Blackberrys I primarily use the physical keyboard. It is not as good as a BB keyboard but is a huge improvement over any virtual keyboard I have tried.

If I need to type something short I use the GB keyboard.

I came from BB also but actually have trouble with the physical keyboard. It's too wide.

I have a couple friends who have the Evo who were attempting to get me to buy that, for me the big thing when I bought the phone after coming from a BB was the presence of a keyboard.

SwiftKey is my default keyboard, but trying out the FlexT9 keyboard that Amazon has as a free download today.

My favorite keyboard is Shapewriter. It was pulled from the market (bought by Nuance), but if you google it you can find it (hint, there is a link in the forums at the old Shapewriter website).

It's like Swype, with better accuracy (and not as many features).

why was it pulled from market?

Nuance sells the FlexT9 keyboard. My guess is they bought ShapeWriter for their technology and stopped selling it in favor of their keyboard.

I've been using shape writer final and its the best swipe keyboard I've ever used. Blows flex out of the water. Frankly flex sucks.

Could anyone recommend a software keyboard to me? I use swype, but I find that I naturally use it with my thumb and it can be a little inaccurate for my taste. Additionally, my job has me outside in the heat often and when I get a little sweaty, it either doesn't respond or responds inaccurately in a way that merely "pressing" the screen wouldn't.

Additionally, I write really long form, varied texts without abbreviations and often containing some pretty fancy words. I don't know if this might make a difference in terms of suggestions...

Thanks!
