So the powers that be are aiming to stop end to end encryption on social media (whatsap etc..) to stop extremist types using it for bad things.
Once more we'll have the heated debates from both sides of the fence.

It is sad that the scare tactics often work.

Encryption does far more to protect the common person than it does to help criminals. Back doors tend to get abused by governments and the back doors cannot be restricted to just the governments.
