Your story on how to disable Amber alerts doesn't work on my Galaxy 10 plus. Any other options?

All of the suggested options to disable emergency alerts are unavailable on my phone. All of them are grayed out and the alerts are very loud and can come on at any time of day. I don't mind the visible reminders but the sound is rather disturbing.

Welcome to Android Central! I can only say what's on my Pixel 3 XL -- you went to Settings>Apps & Notifications>Advanced>Emergency Alerts, correct? But you're saying all of the toggles there are greyed out? Is your phone being supervised by anyone, like a workplace?

Did you go in the message app settings then choose emergency ?
