YouTube acting up for Anyone?

I am having some issues with YouTube on this phone.

The other day, it wouldn't let me scrub to a different part of a video before saying there a problem. That seems to have resolved itself, maybe through an update, I don't know. Now when I get on YouTube, it will not clear the pause button, or the on-screen back/home buttons, or the on-screen YouTube controls at the top. If I "touch" the screen, it disappears for a split-second, then comes back. Furthermore, upon significant time lapsing, the controls do not naturally disappear.

I've never had this issue before, so I assume it is related to my new phone, but I don't know. Anyone else having this issue? Makes it very difficult to watch a video.

Edit: after app restart, it's fixed. Still doesn't minimize that it's been clunky at best on my V10.

I see this from time to time on my Nexus 5 and Zenfone 2--the nav buttons don't auto-hide when in fullscreen, or the battery icon remains. Force stopping the app (and perhaps clearing its cache) usually fixes it.

Instead of restarting app just hit the I info icon on top right of video and the nav buttons go away.

I was having those issues and it was because I had it set to 1440p. No problems now.
